Bioscan Research is dedicated to advancing the science of early brain injury detection.

For over a decade, we have focused on developing innovative, non-invasive technologies to support timely identification and triage of traumatic brain injury (TBI). Our flagship device, CEREBO®, leverages near-infrared spectroscopy and adaptive machine learning to assist clinicians in detecting intracranial haemorrhage at the point of care. Designed for use across emergency, defence, and public health settings, CEREBO® addresses the critical need for rapid screening in environments where access to CT imaging may be limited.

We design and manufacture our technology in-house, integrating proprietary optical systems, embedded electronics, and advanced signal-processing algorithms to ensure consistent performance, safety, and reliability. Our development approach combines engineering rigour with clinical validation, supported by deployments across government hospitals, defence institutions, and tertiary care centres.

CEREBO® has been evaluated in multiple clinical studies and deployed across Primary Health Centers, Community Health Centers, Tertiary Health Centers, Trauma and Emergency care, and premier institutes, contributing to real-world evidence generation in diverse healthcare settings.
