Daniel Barton

Daniel Barton has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Daniel started their career at Holotype Interactive TV as the CEO from 2002 to 2005. Daniel then worked at Two Way Ltd. as a Business Development Manager from 2005 to 2006. Following that, they joined Creata, where they served as the Director of Business Development from 2007 to 2011 and later transitioned into the role of Strategy Director & National General Manager from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Biosceptre International as the Director of Business Development. Most recently, they joined Garvan Institute of Medical Research in 2019 as the Director of Business Development, a position they still hold.

Daniel Barton completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 1990. Daniel also pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry from UNSW, completing it in 1987. Additionally, they partially completed a Master's degree in Cognitive Science (M. Cog. Sci) with a focus on AI, Neuroscience, Psychology, and Computer Science at UNSW. In 2023 and 2024, Barton attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors to obtain a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance (GAICD).
