Peter Coassin

Peter Coassin has extensive experience in the chemical manufacturing sector, particularly focused on DNA/RNA synthesis. Peter began a career at Biosearch Technologies as an Oligonucleotide Technician I and progressed to roles such as Manufacturing Chemist I and II, where Peter was involved in large-scale production and development of specialty dyes and chemical derivatization. In supervisory positions at LGC, Biosearch Technologies, Peter led teams responsible for chemical production support and the manufacturing of specialized dyes and linker modifications, implementing strategies to adapt to increased demand during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, as the Senior Chemical Production Supervisor at LGC, Peter oversees multiple teams and promotes collaboration using SCRUM methodologies. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
