Bioskills Academy is an educational research institute based in Birati, Kolkata, dedicated to provide hands-on training and internship opportunities in Biosciences. The academy focuses on equipping life science students with practical skills in microbiology, biotechnology, molecular biology, biochemistry and recombinant DNA technology aiming to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world laboratory experiences. It is an ISO 9001:2015 certified, MSME registered and holds a permanent trade license, reflecting its compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
We are the pioneer service provider to successfully implement internship programs specifically designed for undergraduate bioscience students as per NEP2020 guidelines. Our state-of-the-art laboratory is equipped to support a wide spectrum of disciplines in the biological sciences. Skill development lies at the core of our mission. Through our meticulously designed internship programs, workshops, and training modules, we empower students with industry-relevant techniques, research methodologies and critical thinking abilities that prepare them for higher studies, research careers and biotechnological industries.
In addition to education, Bioskills Academy is actively involved in innovation and sustainability. We are in a process of developing a range of eco-friendly, sustainable bio-products aimed at improving environmental quality and promoting green technology. Our initiatives include the BioMoss Panel project, a green facade system designed to reduce urban heat and pollution, BioConcrete: A Next-Generation Self-Healing Concrete for Sustainable Infrastructure, Home-Based Pathogen Detection Kit, drinking water quality assessment and other community-centric projects focused on environmental conservation.
