Raphael Klein began their career in 2013 as a Student Research Assistant at the University of Cologne, where they were involved in peptide synthesis and analysis. In 2014, they became a Scientific Assistant and PhD Student at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, researching new starting points for the design of antibiotics. Raphael also served as a Visiting PhD Student at the University of Bergen/Haukeland University Hospital in 2015. In 2019, they took on the role of R&D Project Manager at Dr. Fooke Laboratorien GmbH, where they were responsible for the planning and organisation of R&D projects in the field of immunology. Finally, in 2020, they joined BioSolveIT as Head of Services and Principal Scientist Consulting and Services.
Raphael Klein obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry from the University of Hamburg between 2008 and 2011. Raphael then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from the University of Cologne between 2011 and 2014.
