Roy Perkins

Roy has over 25 years’ experience in firmware and electronics product design, as an individual contributor and engineering manager. He has worked in many industrial and consumer electronics fields, including medical devices, audio/video conferencing, and traffic controls technology. He came to Biosonix, from Polara in Greenville Texas, where he worked as the engineering manager designing a number of Assisted Pedestrian crossing technologies. Prior to this, he was the director of firmware and software development at Clearone Communications in Salt Lake City Utah, working on the development of Audio and Video Conferencing products. Roy moved to Utah from Colorado where he ran the embedded firmware and electrical engineering group for Baxa, a private biomedical company in Englewood Colorado, making pharmaceutical and medical devices.
