Brian Evans has a diverse work experience in the engineering and research fields. Brian is currently working as a Senior Engineer at BioSqueeze Inc., where they focus on addressing environmental issues and eliminating greenhouse gas leakage in oil and gas wells using biomineralization technology. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Engineer at Space Propulsion Group, Inc. from 2015 to 2020. At Stanford University, Brian worked as an Engineering Research Associate, conducting research on propellant combustion phenomena and developing optical methods for chemical kinetics analysis. Brian also worked at Space Propulsion Group, Inc. as a Project Manager & Development Engineer, contributing to the development of paraffin-based fuel technology in collaboration with government and private customers. Brian's earlier experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University, where they worked on various research programs related to hybrid and solid propellant combustion.
Brian Evans earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering Mechanics and Astronautics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002. Prior to that, they attended the University of Minnesota from 1997 to 1999, where they studied Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. Brian then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University from 2002 to 2004. Continuing their education, Brian obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University in the period from 2004 to 2010.
