Tom Riedmueller

Vice President of Medical Education at BioStable

Tom Riedmueller has over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry. Tom began their career in 1988 as a Product Manager at Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics. In 1999, they moved to Centerpulse Orthopedics as the Director of Product Information and Product Support, and later as a Group Product Manager. In 2004, they joined Abbott Spine as the Manager of Technical Information and Product Support. In 2005, they moved to LDR as the Senior Director of Surgeon Affairs, Director of Medical Education & Events, Director of Medical Education & Faculty Management, Director of Education, and Manager of Sales Education. In 2016, they joined Zimmer Biomet as the Director of Medical Affairs, where they transitioned the LDR surgeon Customer Site Visit program and Agent VIP program to Zimmer Biomet, and constructed and maintained a database for tracking interactions with contracted surgeons. In 2018, they became the Principal at ML Surgical Solutions, and in 2019 they joined axogen as the Director of Medical Education, where they were responsible for developing and driving the strategic direction for all surgeon educational and training programs. In 2020, they took on the role of Vice President of Medical Education at BioStable Science & Engineering, and also became the Principal Owner at ML Surgical Solutions Consulting.

Tom Riedmueller holds a Master's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Mississippi State University, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from State University of New York College at Plattsburgh, and an Associate's Degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill.
