biosurgex was founded in 2018 as a spin-off of the Canary Islands Institute of Technology (ITC – Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias). The biosurgex staff has worked on innovative solutions for bone and cartilage reconstruction and regeneration within the  ITC Department of Biomedical Engineering since 2006.
