Bruce Rogers

Bruce has a BSc in Chemistry and PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of Nottingham. He then joined what is now Sigma Aldrich as a synthetic organic chemist working on custom synthesis and FTE projects for 2 years. After that he took his first role in sales at CMS Chemicals helping to grow the traded business and bring projects for internal manufacture.

Since 2007 Bruce has been involved in Biosynth Carbosynth, initially in Carbosynth and then in 2010 setting up the US operation in San Diego and developing the North America business.

After the formation of Biosynth Carbosynth Bruce came back to the UK and now manages the Research Product business unit, and seen the portfolio expand to over half a million products and beyond. ​​Bruce is very active in attending conferences, events and exhibitions with Biosynth Carbosynth and still enjoys spending time in the US.
