Matt Gunnison

Matt Gunnison is the Chief Executive Officer of Biosynth, a KKR portfolio company that provides critical raw materials and custom synthesis services for pharmaceutical and diagnostics supply chains. Prior to this, Gunnison served as Global Head, Corporate Business Development at GE Healthcare from 2016 to 2019, and earlier as Managing Director, GE Ventures (2014–2016). They also led Gamma Biosciences as Chief Executive Officer from 2019 to 2024, and serves on the board of Nirrin since 2021. Gunnison began their legal career as an Associate in Corporate (M&A) at Sidley Austin from 2007 to 2011, and earned a JD from the University of Michigan Law School (2004–2007) and an AB in Economics from Georgetown University (1999–2002).
