Sangram Kale

Sangram Kale is an accomplished professional in the field of peptide discovery and drug development, serving as the Head of Peptide Discovery at Biosynth since February 2020. In this role, Sangram contributes to transforming discoveries into lifesaving therapeutics while leading a dynamic team to develop innovative drug discovery technologies. Prior experience includes positions as Lead Scientist and Scientist at Biosynth, where Sangram led peptide discovery projects for pharmaceutical and academic clients. Sangram's background also includes a noteworthy tenure as a Scientific Staff member at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research and a postdoctoral researcher at EPFL, where Sangram developed key platform technologies for drug discovery. Sangram holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry from Savitribai Phule Pune University, with early research focused on peptide foldamers and medicinal chemistry.
