Mario Merida has extensive experience in the life sciences and analytical chemistry sectors, currently serving as Associate Director of Strategic Accounts at Biotage since January 2019, where responsibilities include providing scientific and technical support for analytical chemistry products and leading method development for LC/MS and GC/MS. Prior to Biotage, Mario worked at ARUP Laboratories from 2010 to 2018, holding various positions including Technologist, where duties involved performing complex analytical processes and overseeing quality control. Earlier roles include Clinical Trial Assistant at the University of Utah School of Medicine and Lab Research Assistant at the Eccles Institute of Human Genetics. Mario holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biology and Business from the University of Utah.
