Ashok Gowda

Ashok Gowda is a distinguished leader in the medical device industry, currently serving as President & CEO of BioTex, Inc., a product development firm and incubator for innovative medical technologies. With a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a BE in the same field from Vanderbilt University, Ashok has extensive experience in medical device development, commercialization, and venture capital. In addition to leading BioTex, Ashok partners with MedTex Ventures as a Partner, focusing on early-stage medical devices, and advises various medical startups, including Ictero Medical and pH Blueprint. Ashok also holds significant roles as Acting CEO and Board Member for companies like Bayou Surgical, Voyager Biomedical, Alleviant Medical, and E-SAFE Medical, contributing expertise to advance critical healthcare solutions.
