Christopher Mason

Christopher Mason has a long and varied work experience. Christopher began their career in 2005 as a Faculty Affiliate and Fellow of Genomics, Ethics, and Law at Yale Law School, where they worked on the AMP. v. Myriad case, from inception to the Supreme Court, as well as other policies relating to gene patents and biotechnology. In 2009, they began working as a Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine, and subsequently held the roles of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor there. In 2016, they Co-Founded Biotia, and then in 2018 they Co-Founded Onegevity Health, where they worked as a Co-Founder. In 2019, they took on the role of Chairman of the Board at Nano-Lit Technologies, and in 2020 they became Vice President, Emerging Genome Technologies at Tempus Labs, Inc. In 2021, they became Scientific Co-Founder at Ursa Bio and Scientific Advisor at Thorne HealthTech. Finally, in 2022 they became an Advisor at Tempus Labs, Inc. and Founder at Nurture Genomics.

Christopher Mason obtained their BS in Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1997 and 2001. Christopher then went on to pursue their Ph.D. in Genetics at Yale University, which they completed in 2006.
