Michael Hofmann

Michael Hofmann has over 17 years of experience in usability engineering and risk management, currently serving as Director of Usability Engineering and Head of Risk Management at BIOTRONIK since January 2011. Expertise includes FDA Quality System Regulation, ISO 14971, FMEA, and Hazard Analysis. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Project Manager focusing on risk management, statistical process control, and quality management. Earlier experience includes consulting at quo connect GmbH from September 2006 to December 2010, working on quality improvement projects in the automotive and capital goods industries. Michael Hofmann earned a Dr.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Precision and Micro Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin between 2000 and 2006.
