Roger Gates has extensive experience in the medical and law enforcement fields. Starting in the United States Marine Corps as a Heavy Machine Gunner and Marksmanship Instructor from July 1995 to September 2002, Roger then transitioned to the role of Clinical Coordinator at Southern California Desert Retina Consultants Medical Corporation from September 2002 to September 2007. Following this, Roger served as a Motor Officer with the California Highway Patrol from September 2007 to May 2015, before working as a Surgical Technician at Synovation Medical Group from May 2015 to January 2018. Afterward, Roger held multiple positions at Abbott, including Territory Manager III and Clinical Specialist III from May 2022 to July 2025. Currently, Roger is the Senior Territory Manager at BIOTRONIK, a position held since July 2025.
