Craig Mitchell

Craig Mitchell currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at The Biovac Institute, a role held since October 2013, where responsibilities include managing the finance team, overseeing the annual financial audit, preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, and supporting ERP system implementation. Prior to this, Craig worked at KPMG as a Senior Financial Analyst and Consultant, focusing on inter-departmental collaboration within the Department of Public Works. Craig's early career included three years as a Senior Trainee Accountant in the regional audit business unit, working with clients across various industries. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Accounting from the University of the Western Cape and a recent program at Harvard Business School.
