An EPA registered, liquid pre-emergent bioherbicide for the selective suppression of the annual grass weeds cheatgrass/downy brome, medusahead, and jointed goatgrass. Battalion Pro (active ingredient Pseudomonas fluorescens strain ACK55) contains a naturally occurring weed-suppressive bacterium from the soil that only affects the three invasive weeds. Battalion Pro gives agriculture growers and rangeland managers a novel tool for fire suppression activities and post-fire restoration efforts. The application period for this product is late fall and winter for maximum results.
