Eric Clifton is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in entomology and fungal interactions with insects. Currently serving as Research and Development Manager at BioWorks since January 2022, Eric previously held roles as Research and Development Lead and Research and Development Scientist. Prior to that, Eric was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Cornell University from August 2017 to January 2022, focusing on the use of entomopathogenic fungi for managing invasive pests. Eric earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Entomology from Iowa State University in 2017, after completing the Master of Science in Entomology there in 2013. Earlier academic pursuits include a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Augustana College. Experience also includes research as a Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University and an internship at the Chicago Botanic Garden.
