Vanesa Sanchez

As a microbiologist with experience as a bio-analyst, Vanesa leads the coordination of administrative and technical processes at the cell bank. These processes include obtaining, separating, expanding, and cryopreserving cells used for therapy—and supports the participation in a wide range of research projects to contribute to advancement in these therapies.

She earned her master’s degree in basic biomedical sciences with an emphasis in neuroscience at the University of Antioquia. She is also a winner of the Arnold Caplan Medal Loyalty Award from the Latin American Society of Stem Cells (SOLCEMA).
