Dan Grunspan

Chief Software Architect at Bioz

Dan Grunspan has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Dan started their career at IAI, where they developed simulation programs for combat aircraft. Dan then worked at Adobe Systems USA, where they were responsible for porting the postscript engine to run on Windows NT. At Sony Electronics, Dan served as a senior software developer and team leader, managing a small team and developing a real-time environment for broadcasting. Dan co-founded WebAppoint and served as the chief software architect before the company was acquired by Microsoft. At Microsoft, Dan worked as the tech lead on the MSCRM scheduling engine, focusing on algorithmic search and database design. Dan then joined Oasis Hedge Fund as an architect, developing financial server infrastructure for financial modeling. Dan then worked as an architect and team leader at Logic Industries, leading a team in creating a distributed OSINT system. At 3i-MIND, they served as an architect, working on system architecture research and designing a generic system of data integration. Most recently, Dan worked at Barclays as a data architect, before joining Bioz, Inc. as the Chief Software Architect.

Dan Grunspan attended the University of Haifa from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
