Gordon Smith

Gordon is seasoned real estate finance and private equity professional with extensive experience in asset management, brokerage, and operations. Prior to Co-Founding biproxi, Gordon built and led the CRE division at Ten-X. During his tenure, he oversaw product development, marketing, operations, and sales. Ten-X was sold to THL Partners in 2017 in one of the most significant prop-tech exits to date. Prior to Ten-X, Gordon spent most of his career at Fortress Investment Group where he executed over $10 billion of transactions. Gordon started his real estate career at CBRE, which gives him a unique understanding of the commercial real estate brokerage community which drives his product thinking every day. Gordon served on the board of companies with significant real estate operations such as CW Financial Services (Real Insight), Intrawest in the US, and Mapeley and Annington Homes in the United Kingdom.
