James Briggs

James Briggs has a diverse work experience in software engineering roles. James is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Bipsync since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Developer, where they developed responsive e-commerce sites using React based static site generators and designed and implemented GraphQL APIs for payment processing.

From 2015 to 2022, James worked at Cardiff Metropolitan University as a Software Analyst/Developer. James'sresponsibilities included developing bespoke Laravel web apps, leading on the migration of on-prem web apps to Azure, and improving developer experience through the introduction of Azure DevOps and Git workflows.

Before that, James worked as a Software Engineer at Inspiretec Ltd from 2013 to 2015. Here, they rebuilt a reviews platform using a Java/MongoDB software stack, conducted technical interviews, and reviewed technical tasks.

James Briggs attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2010 to 2013. James completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science during this time.
