Luke Dobson

Luke Dobson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software development. Most recently, they worked as a Software Developer at Bipsync in 2019. Prior to that, they held the same role at PillTime from 2018 to 2019. Luke also worked as a Senior Developer at Sorenson Media from 2017 to 2018, where they were involved in all stages of software development using NodeJs with MongoDB.

Before Sorenson Media, Luke worked as a Senior Developer at Fasthosts Internet Ltd from 2013 to 2017, where they worked with PHP and C# technologies on Windows and Linux platforms. Their responsibilities included project design, implementation, and customer support. This involved tasks such as implementing clients for supplier APIs and developing web control panels. Luke also gained experience in automated testing using Selenium and Fitnesse.

Prior to Fasthosts Internet Ltd, Luke held various roles at intY from 2005 to 2013. Luke started as a Software Developer, leading the upgrade of the EXOserver product. Luke also worked as a Software Development Manager during this time, overseeing the restructuring of the development team and introducing Agile processes.

Luke's early career included roles at Huntleigh Diagnostics as a Software Engineer, where they worked on medical monitoring equipment, and at Lanergy Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on developing Linux device drivers and network-related configurations. Luke also worked as a Software Engineer at Ascom, specializing in PBX products, and as an IT Engineer at Nortel.
