Mark McClain

Mark McClain is the CEO and Founder of SailPoint Technologies, a leader in identity governance, where responsibilities include directing the overall vision, strategy, and fostering relationships with customers, partners, and investors. McClain also serves as an Operating Advisor at Elsewhere Partners, providing transformational expertise to growth-stage software companies. Previous leadership roles include Board Director at Vyopta Incorporated and Wisegate, SVP of Software Marketing at Sun Microsystems, and President & Founder at Waveset Technologies, which was acquired by Sun Microsystems. McClain's earlier positions include VP of Worldwide Marketing at IBM Tivoli Software and various sales and marketing roles at IBM and Hewlett-Packard. Mark McClain holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Economics from Point Loma Nazarene University.
