Anna Morgan is a Partner and Head of the Irish Privacy & Data Protection Practice at Bird & Bird, a position held since June 2022. Previously, Anna served as the Head of Legal and General Counsel (Deputy Commissioner) at the Data Protection Commission in Ireland from September 2016 to April 2022. Anna's legal career includes roles as Senior Associate in Litigation & Dispute Resolution at Arthur Cox and in Litigation & Regulatory Law at Philip Lee, as well as serving as a Solicitor at Landwell Solicitors. Anna is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Law focused on Data Protection and Children’s Rights at Trinity College Dublin. Educational qualifications include various diplomas and certifications from the Law Society of Ireland, England & Wales, and Northern Ireland, with a Bachelor of Laws and M.A. in Law from Trinity College Dublin.
