Darold Smith

Darold Smith is a seasoned information security professional currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Bird Construction since February 2024. Prior to this role, Darold held the position of Director of Information Security at Pollard Banknote Limited from April 2022 to January 2024. Darold's experience also includes serving as the Director of Information Security Operations for the Government of Manitoba from February 2021 to April 2022, and spending nearly two decades at Manitoba Lotteries in various roles, including Enterprise Architecture Manager and Acting Director of Client Services. Darold has a solid educational background with studies at Midwestern School of Business & Technology and The University of Winnipeg, further strengthening expertise in information security, client services, and enterprise architecture.
