Heric Holmes

Heric Holmes is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in project management and engineering design for various building types, including commercial, residential, and institutional projects. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineer at Bird Construction since April 2023, Heric previously held roles as a Widget Maker and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Building Systems Engineering, where responsibilities included consulting on building systems. Prior to this, positions included Principal at Dune Engineering Ltd., where project management for commissioning and energy-related projects was emphasized, and Associate/Branch Manager at Reinbold Engineering Group, overseeing mechanical design projects and business development for the Edmonton region. With a strong background at Stantec and MacPherson Engineering, Heric has managed large-scale projects, focusing on sustainable engineering practices, energy performance, and life cycle audits. Heric holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Regina, earned from 1993 to 1999.
