Matt Fraser is an experienced HSE Manager currently leading health, safety, and environmental initiatives at Bird Construction since February 2017, following a progression from Senior Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator to Health and Safety Coordinator. Prior to this role, Matt worked at The Miller Group as a Health and Safety Coordinator, overseeing safety policies for operations in the Niagara Region and surrounding areas. From January 2013 to September 2016, Matt served as a Health and Safety Advisor at Pomerleau, where responsibilities included safety policy implementation, incident investigation, and compliance audits. Earlier in the career, Matt gained extensive hands-on experience as a Journeyman Carpenter with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America, and also worked as an Independent Carpenter/Contractor focusing on custom home and renovation projects.
