Michael Hilverink

Michael Hilverink has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Starting in 2000, they worked as a project manager at Ballast Nedam until 2005. From 2007 to 2011, they were a project manager at Graham Construction & Engineering Inc. In 2011, they joined Geneer Construction Ltd. as a project manager and branch manager. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Greyback Construction Ltd. as a project manager. In 2015, they transitioned to Clark Builders as a project manager before becoming a business development manager at Greyback Construction Ltd. from 2015 to 2021. Most recently, they served as a project director at Chandos Construction from 2021 to 2023, and is currently a project director at Bird Construction since 2023.

Michael Hilverink's education history includes attending the Higher Technological Institute for Construction, where they pursued a degree in Construction-Engineering. Michael also attended MBO College in Hoorn, The Netherlands, specializing in Building Construction Technology. Additionally, Michael is currently in progress towards obtaining a PMP/PMI Certification and a Goldseal qualification. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed the CES 0505 Advanced Study of the BC Energy Step Code for Part 3 Buildings from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Furthermore, they have obtained Procore Certifications in Project Management, specifically in Core Tools, Financial Management, Project Management, and Resource Management, all from Procore Technologies. Lastly, they are working towards obtaining a certification from the Integrated Project Delivery Alliance (IPDA), with the details yet to be determined.
