Bob Violier

Bob Violier is a distinguished engineer and co-founder of Bird, where responsibilities include navigating the fragmented telecom industry and leading the transition from hardware to software solutions since March 2011. Prior to this, Bob served in various roles, including CTO and lead engineer at VisualWeb B.V. from September 2003 to May 2014, focusing on web software development and integrations. Additionally, Bob worked as an external project consultant at Mollie B.V. in 2010. Bob's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Human Movement Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, complemented by training from Y Combinator in 2016.
