Douglas Koerich

Douglas Koerich is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development, particularly within telecommunications and cloud solutions. Currently employed at Bird since January 2023, Douglas focuses on enhancing MTA applications using C, C++, Lua, and Perl, leveraging Ansible and CI/CD tools for AWS deployments. Previous roles include significant contributions at Daitan Group on 5G infrastructure and lawful interception systems, as well as numerous senior positions at Datacom, GENBAND, Siemens, and more, where Douglas involved in diverse projects from media gateways to network operating systems. An accomplished educator, Douglas served as a Professor of Computer Science for nearly two decades while holding multiple engineering roles, demonstrating a commitment to both professional and academic excellence. Douglas holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, along with advanced studies in Computer Software Engineering and Project Management.
