René Feiner

René Feiner is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the telecommunications and software engineering sectors. As Principal Engineer and Co-Founder at Bird since January 2011, René has been instrumental in building the MessageBird engineering team to over 100 software engineers, optimizing team structures, processes, and methodologies for efficiency. René's journey includes co-founding Mobile Tulip, serving as CTO, and transitioning the company into MessageBird, as well as earlier roles in web software development and SMS engineering at companies like VisualWeb B.V. and Mollie B.V. In addition to extensive engineering experience, René is currently an angel investor with a diversified portfolio, including companies like Polar Night Energy and Finstack.io. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and an MBO in System Engineering from ROC ASA ICT Academie Amsterdam.
