Rob Black has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2011, they started working as a Mover at Gentle Giant Moving Co., specializing in coordinating residential and commercial moves. From 2011 to 2014, they also worked as a Resident Assistant at Trinity College, where they were responsible for student safety and health.
In 2012, Rob worked as a Residential Assistant and Ecology Assistant at the Santa Fe Institute, where they assisted in running dormitories and ecological aspects of the Complexity and Modeling Camp. Rob gained expertise in complexity-based computer modeling of real-world ecological scenarios during this time.
From 2014 to 2015, Rob worked as an Assistant Coach at Groton School, assisting with coaching responsibilities. Rob then moved on to become a Varsity Rowing Coach at Brooks School from 2015 to 2015.
In 2015, Rob joined OpenWater, Inc. as an Account Manager, working with non-profit accounts to utilize technology for increased impact and audience engagement. Rob later became a Senior Business Development Associate before leaving in 2017.
From 2017 to 2018, Rob served as a Key Leader at lululemon, overseeing daily operations and training staff. Rob also managed community-building and event management for the DC region, specifically focusing on the men's community.
In 2018, Rob joined Forum One as an Account Executive/Client Services, working on projects ranging from digital strategy to website development. Rob then transitioned to the role of Account Manager, collaborating with clients on strategic projects and business goals until September 2021.
Rob's next position was as a Senior Account Executive at SoPost, where they stayed until August 2022. At SoPost, they excelled in the role of driving sales and building customer relationships.
Currently, Rob is an Enterprise Account Manager at Birdeye, starting in August 2022.
Rob Black attended Groton School from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained their high school degree in General Studies. Following that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in History at Trinity College-Hartford from 2010 to 2014.
