Chris Chapman is the Chairman of Nihilent Australia and the Immediate Past Vice Chair of ICANN. Previously, they served as the inaugural Chairman and CEO of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) from 2006 to 2016, where their tenure was recognized for its strategic research and regulatory contributions. Chris also held the role of Immediate Past President of the International Institute of Communications, becoming the first leader from the Asia Pacific region in its near 50-year history. With extensive experience in infrastructure development and the digital ecosystem, Chris has contributed to various organizations, including as Chairman of Australian Golf Services and a Non-Executive Director at Stadium Tasmania.
