John Kessler

John Kessler has extensive experience in radio production and hosting, currently serving as a host and producer for "Blues Time Machine" since August 2011, where the program explores blues music through time. Additionally, Kessler is a co-host and co-producer for "Record Bin Roulette," a show that delves into pop music history since February 2009. As a producer for "BirdNote" since December 2004, Kessler contributes to a daily show about birds and nature, which is broadcast on over 100 public radio stations. Furthermore, since March 1999, Kessler has been the producer and music host for the "ALL BLUES" program on KPLU Radio in Seattle. Prior to these roles, Kessler was the music director for the "Mountain Stage Radio Show" from 1983 to 1997. Kessler's educational background includes a high school degree from Francis W. Parker School, completed in 1975.
