Robert Su has a diverse and extensive work experience. Robert is currently the Director of Information Technology and Cyber Lead at Bishop Museum, where they advocate for the strategic use of technology and leads the technology strategy by leveraging new and existing technologies.

Prior to their current role, Robert worked as an Adjunct Professor at Hawaii Pacific University and Wayland Baptist University, teaching technology-related courses.

Robert also has experience working with the U.S. Census Bureau as a Partnerships Specialist, where they represented the bureau and collaborated with various organizations to promote and ensure the success of the 2020 Census.

Robert has also held multiple roles at the State of Hawaii, including Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Technology Service Officer at the Department of Taxation. In these roles, Robert led IT teams, planned and implemented IT systems, and managed specialized statewide IT programs.

Before their time in government, Robert worked as an IT Project Manager at the City & County of Honolulu and held senior management positions at Orient USA Technology Corporation, Orient Corporatiion (Mitsubishi Griups), and Orient USA Corporation.

Overall, Robert Su brings a wealth of experience and expertise in IT, leadership, and program management to their current role at Bishop Museum.

Robert Su completed their Master of Science in Computer Science at Texas A&M University from 1984 to 1985. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1983, they pursued a Master's Degree in Management at Sonoma State University, affiliated with California State University and College.
