Software Engineer at Bisly

Romi Agar has worked in the software engineering field since 2007. In 2007, they worked as a Software Developer at Tehnikahaldus OÜ. In 2008, they were a Roadshow Project Manager at Eesti Infotehnoloogia ja Telekommunikatsiooni Liit and an Embedded Software Engineer at Defendec, where they developed visual surveillance firmware with a multi-hop network layer for low-power wireless embedded systems. They also created a few quick proof-of-concept prototypes using Python/Qt for UI. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer at Bisly - Building Intelligence Solutions.

Romi Agar's education history is as follows: from 1992 to 2004, they attended Võru Kreutzwaldi Gümnaasium for Information Technology. From 2004 to 2007, they attended TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology for a BSc in Computer and System Engineering. From 2007 to 2010, they attended TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology for an MSc in Computer Systems. In 2010, they attended Act–Control–Move: Beyond Networked Sensors (CONET Summer School 2010) and is currently enrolled in Udacity's Android Kotlin Developer Nanodegree, which is expected to be completed in 2022. In 2014, they obtained a certification in Cryptography I from Coursera.
