Jacob Dearmon

Jacob Dearmon has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Jacob currently serves as the VP of Operations and Technology at BiSN since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at BiSN as the Global Field Operations Manager from July 2018 to June 2022. Jacob started their career at BiSN as a Project Manager from February 2017 to July 2018, where they were responsible for managing the design and testing of down-hole intervention tools, troubleshooting on-site, and data interpretation for tool revisions.

Apart from their time at BiSN, Jacob co-founded NWA Affordable Living, LLC in March 2020. Additionally, they have worked at Schlumberger as an Integrated Fluids & Solids Control Field Engineer from November 2016 to February 2017. Before that, they had an engineering internship at BiSN Oil Tools Ltd from August 2016 to November 2016. Jacob's early career includes internships at ConocoPhillips as a Drilling Technology Intern from May 2015 to August 2015 and at Baker Hughes as an Open Hole Fishing Intern from May 2014 to August 2014.

Jacob Dearmon attended Wake Forest University from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Jacob then went on to Louisiana State University from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering. In addition to their degrees, Jacob also has certifications in Norwegian Basic Safety Training from Falck Nutec AS, which they obtained in April 2017, and Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)-5700 from OPITO, which they obtained in December 2016.
