Bistrot du Coin opened its doors on Memorial Day in 2000 by Yannis Felix and Michel Verdon. The motto is French, Fun and Friendly, this is our guideline to bring you the best french experience ever. Located in the heart of Dupont Circle in Washington D.C. for 20 years, Bistrot du Coin is celebrating french cuisine 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Be our guest and discover our typical French dishes such as Boeuf Bourguignon, Blanquette de Veau, Raviole de Royan, Moules Marinières..., tastful appetizers like our French Onion Soup, Escargots, Foie Gras, Paté de campagne or homemade mouthwatering French dessert such as the Creme Brulee, Fondant au chocolat or Mouse au chocolat.

The word Bistrot or Bistro is defined in French as a neighborhood restaurant where you can eat good food at a fair price. The typical color of a French Bistrot is pale yellow to brown (otherwise known as Bistre) because the walls used to get dirty quickly from nicotine.
