Alexandre Thiery, PhD, is a Computational Biologist currently working at bit.bio since June 2023, specializing in bioinformatics by developing Nextflow pipelines and analyzing multi-omics data related to cellular reprogramming. Prior to this, Alexandre served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at King's College from September 2018 to June 2023, focusing on the molecular heterogeneity of nervous system progenitors in collaboration with Dr. James Briscoe. Alexandre's doctoral research in Evolutionary Biology was completed at The University of Sheffield, where teaching roles included Graduate Teaching Assistant and Laboratory Demonstrator. Alexandre has also contributed as a Student VC at Campus Capital and conducted fieldwork at Misaki Marine Laboratory, as well as presenting research at the British Society of Developmental Biology annual meeting.
