Elizabeth Scott

Elizabeth Scott has a diverse work experience in the field of automation, functional genomics, and cell line engineering. Elizabeth started their career as a Summer Placement at OJ-Bio Ltd in 2010. In 2011, they joined the University of Glasgow as a PhD Student and completed their studies in 2015. Elizabeth then joined the University of Nottingham as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they gained experience in high throughput screening and gene editing technologies. In 2019, Elizabeth joined Horizon Discovery as an Automation Engineer, responsible for automating pipelines and managing automated platforms. Elizabeth also worked as a Senior Scientist in Platform Innovation, focusing on automation projects in cell line engineering. Currently, Elizabeth is working at bit.bio as a Group Leader in R&D Automation and Vector Workshop, managing a small team and leading automation projects.

Elizabeth Scott completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry at the University of Bristol from 2008 to 2011. Elizabeth then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Glasgow from 2011 to 2015. Unfortunately, no specific field of study was provided for their PhD.
