Luca Crepaldi

Luca Crepaldi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Luca began their career as an undergraduate student at the Dept. of Pathology - Sect. of General Pathology - University of Verona, Italy in 1999. Luca then pursued their PhD at Medizinische Universitaet Innsbruck, where they worked as a PhD student from 2003 to 2006. Following this, they joined University College London as a postdoc from 2006 to 2015. At the Wellcome Sanger Institute, Luca held two positions, starting as a Senior Research Assistant from 2015 to 2019, and then transitioning to a Staff Scientist role from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Luca is working for bit.bio, where they started as a Senior Scientist in July 2021 and later transitioned to a Group Leader, Discovery Screening role in November 2022.

Luca Crepaldi completed their education from 1994 to 2000 at the Università degli Studi di Verona, where they pursued a degree in Biotecnologie Agro-Industriali. Prior to that, they attended the Liceo Scientifico Galileo Galilei, located in Adria.
