Ruoyu Sun

Ruoyu Sun is a game developer with experience in both development and business. In 2011, they co-founded 17Startup.com and served as a Research Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2012, they worked as a Technical Analyst (Equity Derivative) at Credit Suisse, followed by a role as Head of Alpha Technology at China Renaissance Securities from 2014-2018. In 2018, they began working at Unity as a (Senior) Software Engineer, and in 2019 they took on a Senior Programmer role at Wargaming and a Senior Software Engineer role at Unity. Ruoyu is currently a Game Developer at BIT ODD, and also owns Fish Pond Studio, a one-man game studio with focus on making simulation and idle games.

Ruoyu Sun obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2012, majoring in professional accounting and double minoring in computer science and statistics. In 2018, Sun became a Unity Certified Developer from Unity Technologies.
