Mihail Minchev

Mihail Minchev is an experienced professional in product development and index engineering, currently serving as the Head of Product Development at BITA since February 2024. Prior to this role, Mihail held the position of Associate Director in Index Engineering at S&P Dow Jones Indices, where a low-code/no-code Python-based index calculation framework was developed. With a robust background at IHS Markit, Mihail advanced from Senior Associate roles in Index R&D and Operations to Associate Director, focusing on the migration and optimization of equity indices and enhancing data quality. Earlier experience includes a role at STOXX Ltd. as an Associate in Index R&D, where innovative strategies were researched and implemented. Mihail holds a Master of Science in Business Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Mannheim, complemented by studies at the University of Copenhagen.
