Varun Jain

Varun Jain is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer at BITA since January 2025. Previously, Varun held various leadership positions at MerQube from June 2022 to December 2024, including Global Head of Sales and UK Board Member. Varun's experience also includes serving as Managing Director at Cygnus Capital from 2020 to 2022, where Varun contributed to the launch of significant financial indices. Prior roles include Proprietary Trader at TradeLink Holdings LLC and Head of Equity ETF Trading Europe at Deutsche Bank, where Varun led one of the top ETF franchises in Europe. Varun began the career at Deutsche Bank as a Summer Associate, progressing through multiple trading roles. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, an Applied Data Science Lab degree from WorldQuant University, and an MBA in Finance and Technology from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
