Ahir Pushpanath, PhD, currently serves as Technical Director of Biocatalysis at bitBiome, Inc., focusing on leveraging innovative single cell genomic sequencing technology to enhance biocatalysis through a comprehensive genomic repository of Japanese biodiversity. Prior experience includes leading enzyme technology innovation at Basecamp Research and serving as Team Leader for Biocatalysis at Johnson Matthey, where efforts centered on improving biocatalyst catalogs and supporting various industries. Academic foundations include a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BSc in Biochemistry from UCL.
