Shaun Bennett

Shaun Bennett has held various roles in the healthcare industry since 2009. Shaun co-founded Orthotech Prosthetics & Orthotics in 2009, where they served as Co-Founder and CEO. In this role, they created and developed all marketing, billing, and sales literature and was responsible for sales recruitment, education/training, and strategy. Shaun managed two regional directors, 10 Direct Reps, and 4 Distributorships (15 additional sales reps) within the U.S. In 2012, they became President of Makarios Medical Inc., a company focused on innovative strategies for commercialization, distribution, recruiting, and acquisition. In 2017, they took on the role of Chairman and CEO of NEW WAVE LABORATORY SERVICES, where they grew the company from a loss to over 3M in annual revenue, added multiple product lines, managed 8-12 Independent Distributors across the U.S., restructured contracts with top 4 insurers, and facilitated and negotiated the sale of the laboratory in March 2018. From 2014 to 2018, they served as Vice President of Sales at Global Molecular Labs (GML), where they were responsible for recruitment, development, and strategy of the entire Sales team, managed 25 Independent Distributors across the U.S., worked closely with smaller hospital systems and larger IDNs to establish correct & compliant billing and reimbursement models, worked closely with various MACs to understand and insure compliance and proper coding/billing practices, negotiated new payer contracts with the top 4 insurers, and grew sales to over 40M annually. In 2018, they took on the role of Vice President of Sales at BitCare Technologies, Inc. and Associate Founder and VP of Sales at Sozos Health, a new software platform in personalized pharmacy management that shows the individualized risks before prescribing a medication.
