Don Freeman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Don started their career as a Content Editor at TotalSports, Inc. in 1999 before moving on to become the Managing Editor at WNCN-TV in 2000. In 2003, Don co-founded HoopTV.net and served as the Director of Operations and Interactive Project Manager. During their time at HoopTV.net, they successfully grew the company's brand and established it as a leading provider of grassroots basketball video. Don also secured numerous partnerships and deals, including a 3-year agreement with ESPN/Scouts, Inc. In 2007, Don became the Chief Technical Officer at MaxxAthlete, Inc. before taking on the role of Managing Partner and Senior Project Manager at Uncle Jake Media, LLC in 2000. Don is currently working as a Technical Account Manager at Bitcentral since 2011.

Don Freeman graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literary Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas in 1998. Prior to that, between 1990 and 1992, they achieved another Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from the University of Houston. Additionally, Don Freeman obtained certifications in AWS Solutions Architecture from Amazon Web Services in June 2022, and in Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy in May 2021.
